Originally from Boston, Nolan draws his love of whiskey from his roots growing up in Kentucky. He attended highschool 15 minutes from the Woodford Reserve Distillery and later attended the University of Kentucky. Working in the hospitality industry since he was 18 years old, Nolan found himself immediately immersed in the Houston bar scene since he moved to town in 2011. He brings his experience in fine dining and high end offerings including quality cocktails to his post as bartender at Doris Metropolitan. The aesthetic ambience and attention to detail of the restaurant allow for a high end space that values the individual when it comes to the customers and the staff. Nolan uses this philosophy in his carefully crafted cocktails.
